About

Guitarists deserve instruments of the highest caliber, without having to pay exorbitant prices. This is my opinion as a guitarist and luthier, and I believe many others agree with me. This belief is the basis of the work that I do.

I have always had an affinity for the electric guitar. I fell in love with it at a young age, and when I was fourteen I started to build my own. Ever since I built my first guitar I wanted to share my passion with everyone. I was completely hooked and knew right away that this is what I was going to do with my life. After high school I was formally trained in guitar building and repair from luthier Brian Galloup.

Soon after I started to design the “perfect” guitar, an instrument that I thought would be the pinnacle of guitar design to date. After it was finished I was left with a wonderful instrument. Upon examination though I realized that the end price would be out of reach to most working musicians. Despite the fact the that the price would have been on par with other custom builders it went against my core personal belief, that everyone should be able to afford a high quality, custom instrument. The majority of the features did very little to effect the most important aspects of a good guitar, tone and playability. I realized that this was a lesson in futility.

I came to the conclusion that I would have to go back to the drawing board and design a guitar that could be affordable while not sacrificing quality. To achieve this I needed to plan the guitar and the building process around each other. This allowed me to make sure the work would flow efficiently and eliminate unnecessary costs. I decided to make a utilitarian design, that through customization could be tailored to each musician. These design requirements proved to be rather challenging. After many different designs and several prototypes I achieved my goal. A hand built guitar with the highest quality parts and construction throughout, without breaking the bank. This guitar has proven to be more ideal than the previous version due to the flexibility of customization. It can be the perfect guitar for any one with a few modifications to the building process.

If you share my opinion then I’m sure that you will find my guitars to your liking.
